Danny Jones passes

Danny Jones, a founding member of the Bluegrass Alliance, who was briefly a Blue Grass Boy in the summer of 1971, and a member of the Roland White band, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017.

He had been battling the ravages of cancer for some time.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 18th.

As soon as we know more we will pass information along.

UPDATE 2/8 – Memorial services for Danny Jones will be Saturday, February 18th, 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 13721 New Hopewell Rd., Jeffersontown, KY 40299, with Chuck Nation, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Flowery Branch, GA, officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
