Call for the NCBS Bluegrass Film Festival

boblogo500The Northern California Bluegrass Society is accepting submissions for their 8th annual NCBS Bluegrass Film Festival. It will be held as part of the Bluegrass On Broadway festival in Redwood City on January 25, 2015.

Bluegrass On Broadway is a free downtown festival managed by NCBS, with sponsorship from the city and local business and arts organizations. In addition to the film festival, it hosts the Northern California Bluegrass Awards, which have been distributed since 2008.

The success of the NCBS Bluegrass Film Festival led to the inaugural IBMA Bluegrass Film Festival which will be held during the 2014 World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, NC this Fall. Both are under the direction of Michael Hall.

Film submissions must be received by October 24, 2014 and should be mailed to:

Michael Hall, Film Festival Director
610 Island Place
Redwood City, CA 94065

Admission to the NCBS film event is also free of charge.
