Boxcars, Lawson do radio Wednesday

Big doin’s on the radio tomorrow (3/21) for bluegrass lovers.

Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. marks the official premier of the highly-anticipated sophomore release from The Boxcars, All In, on Sirius-XM’s Bluegrass Junction. All five members of the band sat recently with Kyle Cantrell for a discussion and play-through for his popular Track-By-Track program, which debuts tomorrow.

The hour long show will re-air on Thursday (3/22) at 9:00 p.m., Saturday morning (3/24) at 8:00 a.m., and again on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. (all times EDT).

Find Bluegrass Junction on Sirius-XM channel 61.

Then in the afternoon, Doyle Lawson will join Bob Webster on WAMU’s Bluegrass Country at 1:00 p.m. (EDT). Bob says they will play some tracks and talk about the songs on Doyle’s new CD, Sing Me A Song About Jesus.

You can listen to the Bluegrass Country stream online, at 105.5 FM or HD radio 88.5-2 in the DC Metro market.
