Boston, MA based, bluegrass band Della Mae has just welcomed their newest member, Jenni Lyn Gardner. No, Jenni Lyn won’t be playing the fiddle in the group, that gig is held down by National Fiddle Champion Kimber Ludiker. Jenni Lyn joins the group as a mandolin player and vocalist.
Ms. Gardner was a part of the IBMA awarded recording project Proud to be a Daughter of Bluegrass, and has previously toured with the likes of Bradley Walker, Cages Bend, and The Mark Newton Band.
We look forward to hearing how the band sounds after this addition. Jenni Lyn starts touring with Della Mae on May 13, 2010. Check their tour schedule to find a show near you.
