The music video from The Grascals’ version of the Monkees hit Last Train To Clarksville debuts today on The Boot.
The song is the opening track of their current Rounder CD, The Famous Lefty Flynn’s, and the video includes just what you’d expect: lots of silliness and singing up high.
Readers of a certain age will recognize the style as an homage to the cinematography employed for the Monkees TV show in the mid-to-late 1960s. Great fun.
