More video entries rolling in

As Friday’s deadline approaches, entries in our Have Bass Will Travel video contest are coming in bunches.

The contest was announced in conjunction of the release of Alison Krauss bass man Barry Bales’ AcuTab instructional DVD, and he has been getting quite a chuckle out the videos submitted so far.

Bluegrass Today will choose six finalists from the entries that come in through August 20, and post them on Monday (8/23). Barry will then select the winner of a prize package worth close to a grand.

Here are a few that have hit since yesterday. First up is Jill Wiese, a volunteer EMT in Washburn, ND.

And here is a video from Jen Dunfield in Riverview, NB.

I guess emergency personnel up north are big bluegrass fans.

Andy Blevins from nearby Bristol, VA sent this one. Ladies, be sure to watch to the end.
