3 new Christmas tracks from Mountain Home

Event Details

The folks at Mountain Home/Crossroads have a special digital release of Christmas music featuring three of their top bluegrass artists. These are all new recordings which can be purchased for download either individually, or as an album.

A Mountain Home Christmas offers songs from Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Balsam Range and Darin & Brooke Aldridge. Doyle sings lead on The Louvin Brothers’ It’s Christmas Time, with quartet harmony throughout, and Darin & Brooke offer a reworked version of The Country Gentlemen’s Christmas Time Back Home. Balsam Range have a tender ballad called Mary’s Little Lamb by Dwight J Bradshaw.

You can hear all three songs in their entirety at the Mountain Home web site, and here are quick samples as well.

Just the thing to put on for tending to Christmas chores, which are just around the corner.
