End of year management changes

Event Details

Two bluegrass artists have announced new representation for 2012 and beyond.

KCA Artists, formerly Keith Case & Associates, will serve as exclusive agents for Della Mae. The all-female group turned a lot of heads at IBMA earlier this Fall, and their debut album, I Built This Heart, has been picking up strong reviews both in and outside of the bluegrass world.

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out have signed with the newly-formed Moonstruck Management for booking and artist management.

Moonstruck is a partnership between Josh Trivett and Peter Keiser. Trivett has spent the past few years handling management for Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, following a career in professional golf. Keiser comes from Cracker Barrel, where he served as Vice President of Marketing, and helped the popular restaurant chain make their move into the music business.

The pair formed their new agency to work specifically with country and bluegrass artists, and are also representing Don Rigsby, Doyle Lawson, and newcomers Still-House.

Trivett tells us that Still-House is heading into the studio this week to work on a debut project. The group consists of a number of hot young bluegrass pickers and singers: Kevin McKinnon on mandolin, Keith McKinnon on banjo, Jamie Harper on fiddle, Travis Anderson on bass, and Justin Tomlin on guitar.
