Doyle and the boys to sing at Charlotte race

Event Details

Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver have been tapped to sing the National Anthem before this Friday’s N.C. Education Lottery 200 NASCAR qualifying race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. They will sing a cappella, with Mike Rogers, Josh Swift and Corey Hensley joining Lawson around the microphone.

The band is in good company, with country superstars Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw also scheduled to appear at race-related events in Charlotte this weekend.

The singing of the anthem will be part of the televised race coverage, so Doyle fans (and race fans) can tune in at 8:00 p.m. (EDT) on the Speed Channel to catch their performance.
