Jeff Partin to Volume Five

Event Details

Volume Five has announced that Jeff Partin, of Ella Jay, GA, is the new guitarist with the band.

At 19 years old, Jeff has already spent several years playing bluegrass music, and had the honor to play on the Opry with Mike Snyder when he was 13. He is proficient on a variety of instruments, and is expected to contribute reso-guitar on Volume Five’s live shows as well.

Jeff says that he is rarin’ to go…

“I am so excited about being a part of Volume Five. These guys aren’t just good musicians, they are also good friends. Im looking forward to the upcoming shows and good times that we will have together.”

Partin will make his debut with the band this weekend at the Red, White and Bluegrass Festival in North Carolina.

V5 fiddler Glen Harrell tells us that Jeff will be adding guitar, dobro and vocals to their next album for Mountain Fever, which they plan to complete later this summer.

You can keep tabs of the band online.
