Deep River Management hits the scene

Event Details

Deep River ManagementJohn Lockaby and Laura Tate Ridge have announced the launch of their new company, Deep River Management. They enter the growing field of companies offering a mix of artist representation, plus branding and management services specifically for bluegrass acts.

They will be working with Constant Change out of North Carolina, and The Darren Beachley Band from Maryland.

John will be based in South Carolina, where he has been involved in promoting bluegrass events since 1999 when he formed the Foothills Foundation to put on shows in his home, and neighboring states.

Laura will work from North Carolina, where she has been a fixture in the bluegrass scene for most of her young life. Her dad, Johnny Ridge, is a long time bluegrass fiddler (Bass Mountain Boys, Al Batten), and she is also a skilled concert photographer whose images have been shared many times at Bluegrass Today.

The two partners will focus on different regions of the country, working in close collaboration on all aspects of the business.

More details can be found on their web site.
