Mandolin opening with the Gabeharts

Event Details

Jim & Valerie Gabehart are on the hunt for a new mandolin player for their West Virginia-based group.

Current mandolinist Steve Acord has had to bow out, having taken a new day job that won’t allow him the flexibility needed to tour with the group during the busy summer season. Jim indicated on Facebook that they expect a busy 2013 and offer competitive compensation.

Their sound is traditional bluegrass, with Jim on banjo, Valerie on guitar and John “Buckwheat” Green on bass.

Anyone interested in being considered is asked to contact the band online.
