Just two days after The Grascals announced that they would take the next several months to find an appropriate replacement for long-time fiddler Jeremy Abshire, they announced this afternoon that Adam Haynes would be stepping in to the gig.
Adam has been working with Grasstowne for the past three and a half years, and before that with Larry Stephenson. He was also fiddler in the first edition of Dailey & Vincent when they started touring in 2007.
Jamie Johnson with The Grascals introduced Adam as their newest member in a statement today.
“Well, we thought we’d have to take more time to find the right fit, but when it’s right it’s right! We’re pleased to announce that fiddler, Adam Haynes is the newest Grascal! We are so happy to have Adam in the band and look forward to all of you being able to hear him play.
Here he is with us recently at the Starlite Theater in Branson where we ‘went pink’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
