Introducing Charm City Junction

Event Details

Charm City Junction

A new string band has sprung up in Baltimore, taking as their name one of the several nicknames by which the port city is known.

Charm City Junction plays a hybrid style defined by its diverse members: a bluegrass fiddler (Patrick McAvinue), and old time banjoist (Brad Kolodner), a Celtic accordionist (Sean McComiskey), and a trained, classical/jazz bassist (Alex Lacquement).

You can hear all these elements and more in their sound, as evidenced by some recent videos shot in a Baltimore eatery. First up, the old time favorite, Last Chance

Followed by the familiar fiddle tune, Two O’Clock In The Morning, popular with both old time and bluegrass pickers.

The band is accepting concert bookings now. You can follow them on Facebook, where a number of other videos are available.
