Ronnie Bowman interview in Roanoke Times

Event Details

The Roanoke Times, formerly the home town newspaper for noted bluegrass singer/songwriter Ronnie Bowman, closed the year with a brief catch up piece on the Franklin County, VA native. Times writer Ralph Berrier offers a brief overview of Ronnie’s big year in 2005, and a discussion of Ronnie’s vision for 2006 and beyond – including his reaction to the closing of his record label, Koch Nashville, mere weeks after the release of his latest CD, It’s Gettin’ Better All The Time.

There is no audio on Ronnie’s web site from the new CD, but we did find some samples up on Barnes & Noble’s site. Ronnie does indicate that he will personalize any CDs ordered from his web site, but no direct online ordering is available.

The article also includes a bit of catch up on Tim Austin, another Franklin County native now working in Nashville.
