Christmas bluegrass benefit concert for the homeless in Nashville

Event Details

This Sunday, December 4, marks the 6th year in which Nashville musicians have performed in a bluegrass Christmas spectacular to benefit homeless members of the local community. Hosted annually by Eddie and Martha Adcock, Donna Sonner, and Gene and June Johnson, the event donates its proceeds to the Room In The Inn program of the Campus For Human Development.

The show will be held in Nashville’s Station Inn and begins at 7:00 p.m. Featured performers include Gene Johnson of Diamond Rio, The Larry Stephenson Band, Don Rigsby, Tim Graves & Cherokee, Jimmy Bowen & Santa Fe, Missy Raines, Eddie & Martha Adcock, Thom Bresh (son of famed guitarist Merle Travis), and Valerie Smith.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring travel-sized soaps and shampoos, as well as other toilet items (toothpaste, lotions, combs, etc) which will be distributed through Room In The Inn. A $15 donation is requested at the door, though additional generosity will be greatly appreciated.
