Tony Trischka is making a stop on his Double Banjo Bluegrass Spectacular tour to Chaplin’s the Music Cafe in Spring City, PA. Tony is giving an intimate 3 hour banjo workshop the afternoon of the show. Space will be limited to give each player the opportunity to learn from Tony. Price is 40 dollars. Immediately following the workshop, you may join the other players for sandwiches and beer/soda in the balcony of the venue to watch Tony soundcheck or trade some licks with your new buddies. A Chaplin’s sandwich and a bucket of beverages will be provided for an additional 10 dollars.
The show itself is 20 dollars. We at Chaplin’s would like fans to know that we are actively pursuing great bluegrass artists and banjo players (Scott Vestal next?) so please keep your eye on our schedule. We have an acoustically perfect venue for bluegrass instrumentation. Just outside of Philadelphia, there’s alot to see and do in the immediate area.
