The Coast coming from Wood & Wire

Event Details

the_coastWood & Wire, a dynamic young string band from Austin, TX, is set to release their second album, The Coast, in February.

The group consists of Tony Kamel on guitar, Dom Fisher on bass, Trevor Smith on banjo, and Billy Bright on mandolin. Special guests on the new project include Jason Carter and Andy Leftwich on fiddle.

These Texas boys made the trip up to Nashville to record last year with producer Erick Jaskowiak, who also recently produced Mind Over Matter for young Swedish grassers G2. All the material on The Coast was written within the band.

Here’s video of them performing one of the songs from the album, Greener Grass, at the Austin City Limits Festival back in October.

Wood & Wire will celebrate the anticipated February 3 drop with an official album release show at The Parish in Austin on February 13.
