Smoked Country Jam Bluegrass Festival – Benefitng The Lupus Foundation of PA

Smoked Country Jam Bluegrass Festival will take place June 18-20, on the Karstetter farm, 6 miles off the Loganton exit of I-80, in southern Clinton County, PA.

The event is a Benefit for the Lupus Foundation of PA, with a 3-day Lupus Auction being a major fundraiser for the foundation. Other "special items" donated by businesses, performers, and patrons are raffled throughout the festival.

There is a second stage for showcase performances by bluegrass bands not scheduled on the main stage, and the Danny Stewart Jam Tent, for jamming sessions throughout the day & night.  The Pennsylvania Heritage Songwriting Contest winners will be presented with their awards and perform their winning songs on stage. Entry forms for the event can be found on the Smoked Country Jam website. A schedule of workshops and children’s activities will take place on Friday & Saturday. Festival vendors will sell a variety of concessions & merchandise, throughout the festival.

2009 performers will include, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, The Gibson Brothers, The Hillbilly Gypsies, The Larkins, The Doerfels, Remington Ryde, Lockport Drifters, The Stevens Family, Van Wagner & Matt Harrison, The Pinelli Brothers, Sweetwater, Mama Corn, The Fox Hunt, Lindsey & The Clear Mountain Boys, Angelica Grim, Chicken Tractor, Mac Silver and the Stonethrowers, and Bailey’s Crossing.
