Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out to Hope River Entertainment

Hope River Entertainment is happy to announce that they are the new representatives for bluegrass headliners Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.

Almost from the time IIIrd Tyme Out emerged in 1991, they achieved top tier status in the bluegrass world. Of course, all the original members had proved themselves as stellar performers, several, including fearless leader Russell Moore, as recent alumni of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. Many members have come and gone over the intervening three decades, but Russell has maintained the same smooth, contemporary bluegrass sound based around his award-winning vocals.

For many years the group had been represented by Josh Trivett and Moonstruck Management, but as Josh has moved into the bus leasing business, Moore had started a search to take his place.

And he reports that he is delighted to welcome their new agent.

“We are happy to announce that Penni McDaniel of Hope River Entertainment is now our full-time BOOKING representative! Some of you may have spoken with her on our behalf before as she’s been working behind the scenes for a while on a part-time basis. Moving forward, please contact Penni exclusively to have 3TO appear at your event.

On that note, we wish to say a sincere thanks to Josh Trivett of Moonstruck Management for his many years of friendship, hard work, and dedication. We wish him the absolute best as he devotes his time to his latest venture, Moonstruck Leasing!”

Penni is also a veteran of this business, helping keep a number of acts on the road, like Volume Five, Dave Adkins, and Larry Cordle.

McDaniel says that she is ready and eager to work with Russell.

“I’ve worked with Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out behind the scenes off and on for several years, and am super excited to officially become their full-time booking agent. They are without a doubt one of the most popular bands in bluegrass, and adding them to my Hope River Entertainment roster for exclusive representation is a dream realized for me. And with the band’s new music released to radio this month, they are sounding better than ever!

I also throughly enjoy working with the band’s longtime publicist, and my friend, Kimberly Williams of East Public Relations. I think we have a strong team in place, and I am looking forward to a promising future for all of us!”

That new music Penni mentions are two singles recently released, Heading East to West Virginia, written by Tim Raybon, and When I Get There, a gospel number written by fiddler Michael Reagan.
