Pend Oreille Valley Bluegrass Festival News

Event Details

Steve Kaufman, 3-time national flatpicking champion, aka “The world’s guitar teacher”, will be hosting his 2-day hands-on all-levels flatpicking workshop at the Pend Oreille Valley Bluegrass Festival in Cusick, Washington (50 miles north of Spokane) on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7th and 8th, 2007. Steve will also be hosting a mandolin workshop on Thursday, Sept. 6th, and an advanced guitar workshop on Sunday, Sept. 9th. Space at the workshops is limited, and signup is on a first-come first-serve basis. Online registration and details are available at www.jimcrowleymusic.com/. Steve will be performing in concert with banjo champion Gary Davis on Saturday, Sept. 8th, and will be joined onstage by Dan Crary and Thunderation for a Super-Jam! Also appearing will be Prairie Flyer, The Engell Family Band, Too Hot To Handle, Mike and Tari Conroy, The Panhandle Polecats, Mollie and Tenbrooks, and many more bands.
