Out Among The Stars Bluegrass Festival announces it’s 2009 lineup

Oatsfestival Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit is excited to announce the lineup for the 10th annual Out Among The Stars Bluegrass Festival (OATS) to be held July 1st through the 6th in Benton Pennsylvania.  Appearing in 2009, Blue Highway, Dan Paisley and Southern Grass, The Hillbilly Gypsies, The Bluegrass Brothers, The Steep Canyon Rangers, David Via & Corn Tornado featuring Curtis Burch, Williams and Clark Expedition, Straight Drive, Lykens Valley Bluegrass Boys, Remington Ryde, Cabinet, Bill and Maggie Anderson, Mason Porter, Smokehouse, Stained Grass Window, Blue Roots, Rev. Al Lumpkin and Friends, Some Assembly Required  & Painted Blue. There will be Workshops Friday & Saturday, a moderated Jam Tent all weekend, children’s programs and play area.  Children 15 and under admitted free to festival.  A Kids Bluegrass Academy open to any child 8-15 years old attending the festival at no extra cost, however the student must have their own instrument. Rough Camping is included with 4 day ticket,  and limited electric sites available.  Food and other vendors on site, new this year hot showers available at the Benton Community center.  Municipal airport adjacent to festival grounds making it easy for festival patrons to fly in.  For more information go to the OATS website at oatsfestival.com
