Doc Watson and The Gibson brothers will headline the first annual Mountain Music Meltdown in Saranac Lake, NY on June 30 – July 1. I’ve written a preview of this festival on my blog at www.tedlehmann.blogspot.com. The festival is an eclectic melange of bluegrass, blues, sixties rock, and world music, but Saturday looks like it leans more towards bluegrass. The Adironacks of northern NY encompass one of the great wilderness areas of north America and are worth your attention.
