What can you get for the flatpicker who has everything? Well… if the soon-to-be-concluded Kickstarter campaign for The Firefly Pick is successful, they could have a pick that lights up in the color of their choice with each stroke!
The Firefly Pick is the brainchild of Brandon Williams and Peter Holm, who have created three different prototypes with embedded LEDs that respond to pick movement and direction. One lights up each time you hit a string, another lights up with a different color on up and down strokes, and the third responds only to the motion and is designed for air guitar.
Williams and Holm have taken to Kickstarter to raise the $30,000 they need to move into production, and with 8 days to go, they have more than $28,000 committed.
