Music for the Mountains – Fundraiser to those impacted by Hurricane Helene

Event Details

The Charlotte Folk Society and St. Martin’s Episcopal Church present Music for the Mountains, a music gala to support our mountain musicians and artists and others impacted by Hurricane Helene.
Performers include Liam Purcell and Cane Mill Road, Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones, Paul Brown and Terri McMurray and The Pickin Thistles.
Suggested donation to reserve your seat for this special event is $20 though additional amounts are welcome! All reservation proceeds and other monetary donations will be shared equally by the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund and the IBMA Trust Fund. Both organizations support musicians and other artists in need in our state.
In-kind donations are welcome and will be distributed to the mountain region by Operation Airdrop or a similar partner organization.
St. Martin’s is serving as a collection site for this effort.
The current most pressing items are pre-mixed baby formula, chewable Benadryl (for line-workers dealing with yellow-jacket attacks), nut mixes, beef jerky, granola bars, baby food, new towels, diapers, and new socks.
Please join us for this wonderful event for musicians supporting musicians! Thanks to our partners at St. Martin’s for hosting this event!
