Goldwing Express Paul Baldridge is a founding member, lead guitarist, and tenor vocalist for the award-winning family band Goldwing Express. Originally from Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Paul has spent more than four decades entertaining audiences across the country with his signature high-lonesome bluegrass vocals, smooth guitar work, and heartfelt stage presence. As the eldest of the Baldridge brothers, Paul helped build Goldwing Express into one of the most recognizable family bands in bluegrass, country, and gospel music. Known for his traditional bluegrass style and strong lead guitar playing, he has received numerous honors throughout his career, including SPBGMA Midwest Guitar Player of the Year and Iowa Old-Time Country & Bluegrass Music Guitar Player of the Year. Raised in a musical family led by his father, Bobby Joe “Pop” Baldridge, Paul grew up performing alongside his brothers Steven and Shawn. Together, the family created a unique blend of music, comedy, and family-friendly entertainment that earned Goldwing Express national recognition, appearances on RFD-TV, and multiple nominations for SPBGMA Entertaining Band of the Year. Today, Paul continues to perform hundreds of shows each year in Branson, Missouri and across the country, carrying on the legacy and tradition of Goldwing Express while connecting with audiences through authentic music, humor, and heartfelt storytelling.
