The 22nd Annual Jenny Brook Family Bluegrass Festival, is to be held June 22nd through June 25th, on the beautiful Tunbridge Fairgrounds in Tunbridge Vermont! Jenny Brook, nominated for the 2012 and 2013 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Event of the Year, is back with its best lineup ever on multiple specialty stages and showcases the finest in national and homegrown bluegrass music. You can attend for the day or the entire 4 days. Gates actually open for early bird camping at 10 am on Tuesday, June 20th for this four-day music-packed event!
This year’s lineup consists of The Gibson Brothers, Dale Ann Bradley, Appalachian Road Show, Malpass Brothers, Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run, Kenny & Amanda Smith, Etlington Enterprise, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Country Gentlemen Tribute Band, Rock Hearts, Ruta Beggars, Atkinson Family, Serene Green, Kelley John Gibson and your hosts, the Seth Sawyer Band.
Jenny Brook offers music and fun for the whole family. Kids can work on their bluegrass skills in the Jenny Brook Kids Academy – free to festival attendees – and wind down with their friends while watching a movie at our kids’ theater. There are also kids’ activities throughout the day to keep them entertained. In addition to the Main Stage, Fernan’s Playhouse will be the home of the Thursday night Barn Dance featuring the classic country Malpass Brothers. It also has daily morning Yoga sessions along with up close and personal workshops with band members sharing vocal and instrumental advice etc. At night following the Main Stage entertainment, the Sugar House becomes the venue for music, with late-night picking lasting well into the early morning hours. The artists often drop in to do a little impromptu jamming with their fans. To many of the fans, this is their favorite part of the festival, it provides a great opportunity to spend time with fans and musicians alike!
There are plenty of sites available for rough camping; a more limited number of sites with water and electric hook-ups are also available for an additional fee when the gates open.
