Dare To Be Different Showcase in Bell Buckle, Tenn.

Bell Buckle Records will host its 2nd annual Dare to Be Different Showcase in historic Bell Buckle, Tenn., on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 1 to 10 p.m. The showcase, hosted by Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, will feature something from every branch of the Bluegrass family tree. A $10 donation is requested at the door with all proceeds benefitting IBMA’s “Bluegrass in the Schools” program.

Our featured performer is Grand Ol’ Opry and Country Hall of Fame member Charlie Louvin of the Louvin Brothers. The Louvin Brothers songs have become mainstays of the Bluegrass vernacular.

Other featured performers include award-winning Daughters of Bluegrass members Lorraine Jordan with her band Carolina Road and Frances Mooney with her group Fontanna Sunset.
