The Back Creek Valley Boys at Pickin' in the Panhandle Festival

The Back Creek Valley Boys will be appearing at Pickin’ in the Panhandle – the West Virginia State BBQ & Bluegrass Festival.  The festival, located at the Lazy A Campground in Hedgesville, West Virginia, will take place on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2009.

Pickin’ in the Panhandle is featuring the Charlie Daniels Band, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice, Cadillac Sky, the Kenny and Amanda Smith Band, the Dixie Bee-Liners, Jetts Creek, and many more!

The Back Creek Valley Boys will be playing two shows on the Pickin’ Porch on Saturday, September 12.  The first set will be from 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.  The second set will be from 5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

The Back Creek Valley Boys, based out of Hedgesville, West Virginia, feature Randy Kenney on bass, Andrew Jordan on guitar and vocals, Warren "Houndog" Kesecker on banjo and vocals, and Ike Jordan on mandolin and vocals.  The band has toured regionally this summer throughout West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia in support of their recently released debut album, "Bluegrass, Plain & Simple".  The album features 10 tracks of hard-driving traditional bluegrass.
