Grasstowne statement on Phil Leadbetter

Event Details

Alan Bibey sent along a statement about losing Phil Leadbetter, resonator guitarist and founding member of Grasstowne.

Al assured us that Grasstowne would be hitting it stronger than ever this year, and would have both a new bass player and a new member to take Phil’s spot when the festival season cranks up shortly.

“Steve Gulley, Jason Davis and I would like to say how much fun it’s been to work with Phil these last three years. We wish him only the very best in every endeavor he pursues, and know that he’ll be successful.

We also want to let everyone know that Grasstowne is looking forward to an exciting year in 2010 and will be making announcements soon as to the new members. We appreciate all the notes and calls from friends and fans, and look forward to seeing you all this year out on the road.”

You can follow the Grasstowne summer tour schedule on MySpace.
