Phil Leadbetter sent along a report and some photos about a special visitor to one of his shows last week.
It seems that pro wrestler ‘Nature Boy’ Buddy Landel dropped in on a Leadbetters show in Knoxville, and hammed it up with the guys onstage. Buddy and Phil have become friends of late, and are looking at some potentials projects that can merge the bluegrass and wrestling fan bases.
“Buddy loves bluegrass. He even brought his Mom down last night.
He is a business guy, and he thinks we can incorporate wrestling and bluegrass on some events. He is really tied in well with the wrestling industry… used to wrestle WCW. He has wrestled guys like Sting, Ric Flair, etc.”
