Photos from Bill Monroe tribute on PHC

Event Details

Kathy Chiavola has posted a number of candid photos from this past Saturday’s Bill Monroe tribute broadcast on A Prairie Home Companion.

The show featured a number of stellar bluegrass artists, most of them former Blue Grass Boys. Kathy was on the bill as a vocalist, along with Bobby Hicks and Stuart Duncan on fiddle, Roland White on mandolin, Bob Black and Blake Williams on banjo, Mark Hembree on bass, Tom Ewing on guitar, and Peter Rowan on guitar and vocals.

Here are a few of Chiavola’s photos; more can be found on her Facebook page.

An audio podcast from Saturday’s show will be available shortly on the PHC web site.
