IBMA-smallThe IBMA will be hosting a webinar next month for vocalists interested in the anatomy and physiology of the human voice.

How to Make Your Voice Last a Lifetime will be hosted by Leda Scearce, voice rehabilitation specialist at the Duke Voice Care Center. Scearce is also an opera singer and voice instructor with more than 25 years experience.

The online presentation is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (EST) on January 9. It will cover voice injuries and healing, voice care, and the basics of how the voice works from a structural standpoint.

Fees to “attend” are $20 for IBMA members and $40 for non-members. To register, contact Taylor Coughlin at IBMA by email or phone (615-256-3222).
