2015 Charlotte Bluegrass Festival – Day 2

Event Details

Day 2 of the Charlotte Bluegrass Festival dawned bright and sunny. The schedule was jumbled a bit because Doyle Lawson had a bus breakdown and was unable to make the show. So Harbourtown stepped in and opened the show.

Virgil Bowlin brought Peerless Mountain to the Charlotte stage for the first time and The Bluegrass Brothers took their high energy, traditional bluegrass to the crowd. Donna Ulisse and the Poor Mountain Boys are always a treat at festivals. Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers give a well-rounded taste of traditional bluegrass music, some contemporary music, some great old country music, and some of the best Gospel music played today.
