Announcing Starvy Creek Productions

Event Details

Starvy Creek Productions

We have previously reported that Aaron McDaris, banjo player for Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, has taken over the Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival in Conway, Missouri and purchased the festival park. Now, the McDaris family has formed Starvy Creek Productions to offer even more entertainment opportunities for both concert attendees and musicians.

In the past, concert attendees have been able to see live bluegrass music at Starvy Creek’s annual festivals in July and September. The formation of Starvy Creek Productions doesn’t affect those events. McDaris says they still plan to host their long running festivities. Instead, their new venture promises new opportunities to experience live music.

Starvy Creek Productions has branched out to host concerts at the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center in nearby Lebanon, MO, approximately 18 miles northeast of the Starvy Creek festival grounds. The Cowan Civic Center is an extremely nice multipurpose facility with an expansive exhibition hall, meeting rooms, and a 675 seat theater.

The first official event hosted by Starvy Creek Productions was a great success, held on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, and featuring Grand Ole Opry Star Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, with special guests Dek of Hearts, a country-pop trio who were finalists on Season 28 of NBC’s The Voice (2025).

The next concert at the Cowan Civic Center comes after this summer’s festival in July. On Sunday, August 9th, Missouri’s own Hannah Harper of American Idol fame will perform at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Wednesday, April 1st, and can be purchased online.

McDaris says more events are also in the works.
