If bluegrass music is your roots then you’re a blue-neck!

Event Details

This post is a contribution from Brad Davis. Brad is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and recording engineer who has worked with a literal who’s-who of bluegrass music. Visit Brad online at braddavismusic.com.

During the last four years, after leaving country legend Marty Stuart, I have landed back down on solid ground to my roots. I started playing grass at the early age of six and that began a life long love affair with bluegrass music. I worked hard in the industry playing acoustic, telecaster and singing country music for a variety of artists. I quickly became too busy to realize what I was missing and who I really was. I have always been a blue-neck. A bluegrass hillbilly. You may fall into this category if you love bluegrass music more than any other kind of music. This doesn’t mean that you can’t appreciate other styles of music, it just means that it is the one music that can pull everyone of your heart strings at the same time. I will always have a place in my heart for bluegrass music.
