Here’s a twist on the old promotional game.
The Danberrys (Ben DeBerry and Dorothy Daniel) have a new album set for a June 17 release, and to celebrate they have released a live music video… for a song not on the album.
Give & Receive will feature the duo’s trademark mix of bluegrass, old-time country, blues, and funk/soul performed in an acoustic setting. But the new video is their version of the old classic, Working On A Building, a staple of their live shows.
The couple have known each other since middle school days in East Nashville. They dated in high school, and then took different paths following graduation. But they reconnected after separately starting on roots music journeys, and are now husband and wife – and musical partners in The Danberrys.
