Winter Musician Camp in the Slovak Republic

Kiki Otáhalová at 11th Winter Musician Camp - photo by Peter PinterOur Czech bluegrass friend Kiki Otáhalová has shared a video she created during the 11th Winter Musician Camp hosted in the Low Tatras Mountains in the Slovak Republic. It’s a limited attendance gathering of musicians and friends, held in a large cabin on a mountain peak that can only be reached by cable car.

Even if your Czech or Slovak is a little rusty, you can see what a beautiful setting they had for their weekend, and that everyone seems to have had a fine time.

Kiki is the primary agent with Velvet Music, who helps arrange European tours for US artists, and also books a number of eastern European bluegrass and acoustic acts.
