Why Did You Wander video from The Earls

Event Details

Earls of Leicester

Rounder has released a video from Rattle & Roar, their upcoming sophomore release from bluegrass supergroup, The Earls Of Leicester.

It’s for the Flatt & Scruggs classic, Why Did You Wander, one written by Lester Flatt and Bill Monroe, and recorded in 1946 at the first historic sessions with Monroe. But it wasn’t released for many years, and Lester and Earl got the first single with it in 1952.

As expected, The Earls stick very close to the Flatt & Scruggs formula.

Look for Rattle & Roar July 15.
