Walkin’ Across This Land with Bryan Sutton

Event Details

The More I Learn - Bryan SuttonSugar Hill has released a music video ahead of tomorrow’s CD drop for Bryan Sutton’s The More I learn album. It’s a live performance of the opening track, Walkin’ Across This Land, where Bryan showcases his hybrid crosspicking style, blending aspects of guitar greats like Doc Watson and Norman Blake.

This is one of nine Sutton originals on the new record, and it captures his deep understanding and appreciation for the old time country music of the American south.

Assisting in the video are Sam Grisman on bass, Casey Campbell on mandolin, and Alex Hargreaves on fiddle. It was directed by Nate Shuppert.

The More I Learn will be widely available on Friday, June 3. CDs can be pre-ordered through the Sugar Hill web site.
