Mountain Home Music has released a sneak peak video for their upcoming album for The Grascals, And Then There’s This, and their new singer/guitarist, John Bryan.
If you’ve caught them live this summer, you already recognize Bryan as an outstanding bluegrass singer – one of the brightest lights out there right now. He has the clarity and range that caught everyone off guard when Jamie Dailey joined Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver in 1998, plus a fluid and highly expressive voice. He had been turning heads with Larry Efaw.
The video features the album’s opening track, I Know Better by Billy Droze and Chris Meyers, a super snappy song that showcases Bryan’s singing quite well. Look for this one showing up on the charts real soon.
The album is set for a January 8 release. Pre-orders are enabled now on iTunes, where two tracks (I Know Better and Road Of Life) available for immediate purchase.
