Timeless from Acoustic Blue

Western Massachusetts’ Acoustic Blue has released Timeless, their 4th album over the course of 8 years working together. It includes a number originals from band members, some familiar classics and a few songs that are not familiar to me.

Corey Zink plays mandolin and sings, T. Shaun Batho is on guitar, with Alton Acker on bass and Larry Neu on banjo. Both Neu and Acker assist with harmony vocals.

Here’s a listen to a couple from the CD:

Nineteen Forty Ford: [http://www.acousticblueonline.com/Nineteen%20Forty%20Ford.mp3]

Windmills was written by Acker and Zink, and Nineteen Forty Ford by Zink. Rose Colored Glasses, of course, was written by John Conlee, for whom it was a country hit in 1978.

There are additional audio samples available on the Acoustic Blue web site, and in iTunes.
