Tonight (1/21/2011) I’ll be heading out to Garnett, KS to tape a concert by Linda Thomas and Dan DeLancey. Dan and Linda are a husband and wife team who perform bluegrass and old-timey music. Linda is a well known hammered dulcimer player and instructor. Dan is an award winning flatpicking guitarist. Tonight they’ll be performing as a band, with Ronnie DeLancey (bass) and Scott Tichenor (mandolin).
The performance will take place at The Coffee Loft in Garnett, KS. Show time is 7pm.
I’ll be taping the performance for use as a promotional DVD for the band. If you’re in the area, want to hear some good acoustic music, and meet some friends, then come on out and enjoy the show!
