The Bullet video from Unspoken Tradition

Event Details

Unspoken Tradition

North Carolina’s Unspoken Tradition has dropped a first video from their latest album, Miles Between.

The song and the video for The Bullet are thoughtful and provocative, with the projectile itself narrating a story of how it can and has been used for both good and ill throughout history. In the refrain, writer and singer, guitarist Audie McGinnis, reminds the listener, in the person of The Bullet, to use your head instead of your heart to guide its progress, because, “once you pull that trigger, you can’t put me back inside that gun.”

It’s performed in an aggressive, contemporary bluegrass vibe with Lee Shuford on bass, Zane McGinnis on banjo, Ty Gilpin on mandolin, and Tim Gardner on fiddle.

The video uses a mix of color but mostly black & white images to convey the solemnity of its message.
