Steve Gulley CD drops next week

Steve Gulley & New PinnacleSteve Gulley & New Pinnacle have been dominating our Weekly Airplay Chart this past few weeks with their first single, Leaving Crazytown. The full album from which it came, a self-titled project from Rural Rhythm Records, is set to release next Tuesday, March 31.

Ahead of the release, Steve shared a few words about his new music, and his new band, along with a video introduction.

“We couldn’t be happier about or more humbled by the overwhelming response to our debut single, Leaving Crazytown. That, coupled with the enthusiasm and anticipation shown for our new project has been so extremely gratifying and inspiring. It’s truly a special time for all the guys in New Pinnacle and we can’t wait for you to hear ALL the new music we’ve created. A big ‘Thank You’ to our bluegrass family for all the support!”

 

Sirius-XM subscribers can get a sneak peek as Steve and the guys are featured in a live performance of music from the album starting tomorrow afternoon on Bluegrass Junction (channel 61). The show is called Live World Premier and it will air over the next few days leading up to the release date as follows (all times EDT):

  • Friday, March 27 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 28 – noon
  • Sunday, March 29 – 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 31 – 9:00 p.m.

Steve is assisted in New Pinnacle by Bryan Turner on bass, Gary Robinson, Jr. on mandolin, and Matthew Cruby on banjo.
