Recording King is so stoked about the debut of their new Elite model banjo (which we profiled last December), that they have released a video extolling its virtues. It was shot in the shop where the banjos are set up and inspected prior to shipping, and features commentary from RK product designer Greg Rich while Chris Caputo gives them a test drive.
The Elite was introduced at the Winter NAMM Show in California this past January and is targeted at banjo players who want the look and design features of the classic prewar flatheads at a more modest price. The Elite sells for under $1500 with a hardshell case and limited lifetime warranty.
