Bluegrass Crosswords – Back to Bass-ics

Event Details

Bluegrass Crossword puzzles from Bluegrass Today
Elizabeth Loring

We are delighted to introduce our new Puzzlemaster, Elizabeth Loring, who will be creating our weekly crosswords going forward.

She is a bluegrass singer, songwriter, bass player, and founding member of Chicago’s Andy Miller & the 145s. She is also a lover of language and word games of all kinds.

I just had to choose a bass-ic theme for my very first Bluegrass Today puzzle!

This one has a lot more clues than past puzzles, but that actually should make it easier to solve—if you don’t know an answer, you can try the intersecting words to fill in letters until you can make a guess. Don’t forget, you can also use the “assist” menu to consult a friend or reveal a square.

Most of the clues are specific to the bass, some are about bluegrass in general, and a few are not related to bluegrass at all but just there to help you get the other answers.

I hope you find this challenging but fun!

And watch for a new bluegrass puzzle next Saturday!
