One More Dollar from Bluegrass Stuff

Bluegrass StuffItaly’s Bluegrass Stuff has released a music video for one of the tracks on their upcoming album. It’s their arrangement of One More Dollar by Gillian Welch.

The band has been performing and recording in Italy since 1977, led by mandolinist Massimo Gatti that whole time, placing them among the longest running active bluegrass outfits in Europe.

This new album is conceived as a tribute to what they feel are the best songwriters in the US, with tracks by Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Warren Zevon, John Prine, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore.

The new video was shot at the Suono Vivo studio in Bergamo, featuring Massimo Gatti on mandolin, Icaro Gatti on banjo, Colm Murphy on fiddle, Michele Dal Lago on guitar, and Rino Garzia on bass.

Dario and Marco Ravelli handled the videography and audio.

No word yet on when this next album will be released. Keep an eye on the Bluegrass Stuff web site for more details.
