Compass Records has released a first single to radio from Nightbird, their upcoming November release from The Bankesters.
It’s the title track, written by Rick Lang, and sung by eldest Bankester daughter, Melissa Triplett. As ever, she is joined by husband, Kyle Triplett, on banjo, with Papa Phil Bankester on guitar, Alysha Bankester on mandolin, and Emily Pitney on fiddle.
They’ve just released this lyric video for the song, a grassier number than many of the tracks on their previous project.
Look for Nightbird to release November 4. Radio programmers can download the single now from Airplay Direct.
