New video from The Farewell Drifters

Event Details

Nashville alt-grassers The Farewell Drifters have released a music video for We Go Together, a track from their upcoming Echo Boom CD, due June 7 on Thirty Tigers/Sony Red.

The guys have let a few live performances out on video, but this is their first official music video. The project was shot and edited by Winston Hearn, written and directed by Ben Campbell.

We Go Together was written by Drifters’ mando man Joshua Britt, and sung by guitarist Zach Bevill, who shared a few words about the shoot.

“We had a blast recording it out at an old abandoned rock quarry near Ashland City, just outside Nashville. We were there all day for the shoot, and at 5:00 p.m. just as we were wrapping up the last take of the performance, the cops showed up to kick us out.

Thankfully they didn’t show up 9 hours earlier when we started!”

Here ’tis…

Pre-orders for Echo Boom can be placed on the band’s web site, which include package offers for both CDs and vinyl LPs.
